Our Simulation products portfolio
All our simulation programs transmit proper NMEA 0183 sentences over either physical or virtual PC serial communications ports using the industry standard RS232 interfacing option. This data then can be processed by chart plotters and other hard and software eliminating the need to leave workshop or office. NemaStudio can also send the NMEA data over the TCP User Datagram Protocol (UDP) to a UDP client.
NemaStudio provides the professional developer of NMEA products with a very powerful development and testing tool by simulating the output of various nautical instruments and target objects including GPS, AIS and Radar. All instruments, targets and ports can be matched and mixed, meaning you can have multiple instances of several objects transmitting over the same or over different ports simultaneously.
GPSSimul is a very handy tool for developers of GPS dependent software since it eliminates the need for connecting a physical GPS unit during the development and testing cycle. GPSSimul is also great if you need to test or trial any NMEA compatible device like an autopilot or a software charting program. This is the ideal GPS simulation product for you if you do not require the extensive functionality of NemaStudio.
IpaNema - IPaNema can be used for making NMEA data (like GPS streams) available to any or all clients on an IP/UDP network, either wired or wireless using 802.11. Because it can be used both as server or client it gives the user much flexibility in situations were NMEA data must be transmitted over IP networks.
WaypointCreator - Waypoint Creator is as small program for creating NMEA $GPWPL sentences. It uses Microsoft's Virtual Earth technology for map display and handling. To create a waypoints, simply click on the map location where you want to set a waypoint. Waypoint Creator transforms the waypoint locations to valid $GPWPL sentences. When done, you can save the waypoints to a file for retrieving in other applications, e.g. for uploading to GPS and chart plotters.
